Tracing a Genre: Psalters from Insular to Carolingian

This was a very challenging project, because I tried to keep the comparisons not only just in the two psalters I was looking at (one from each period), but also within a single Psalm in these manuscripts. Although it made for a lot of close reading to find the exact Psalm I wanted to use, this entire project was fun. I kept all of the things I had previously learned in mind to compare and contrast these psalters, and I am pleased to say that what Dr. Main assured me a few weeks ago is completely true: keep studying and you will be able to read and understand these texts soon enough!
