If you&#8217;ve ever enjoyed reading &#8220;The Veldt&#8221; (meaning you had chills the first time you read it), then you&#8217;ll enjoy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_esYONwdKuw\" target=\"_blank\">deadmau5&#8217;s version of it<\/a>, which truly captures the feeling and ambiance of the original story. (While you&#8217;re at it, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openculture.com\/2014\/10\/stephen-colbert-reads-ray-bradbury-classic-sci-fi-story-the-veldt.html\" target=\"_blank\">listen to Stephen Colbert reading it here<\/a>.)<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-size: x-large\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #94ad79\">Two<\/span><\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nLifehacker has an interesting view of renting in this article, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/lifehacker.com\/renting-is-underrated-1732159069\" target=\"_blank\">Renting is Underrated<\/a>.&#8221; Owning a house (or condo) just isn&#8217;t for me for a variety of reasons, and some of those reasons are in this article.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #94ad79;font-size: x-large\">Three<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nWhat the what? <a href=\"http:\/\/fucknosexistcostumes.tumblr.com\/post\/128877390667\/yamino-fucknosexistcostumes-patrick-star\" target=\"_blank\">These costumes for women and girls are ridiculous<\/a>! Why do the guys get to look like the actual cartoon character and the women\/girls look like some guy&#8217;s skeezie, sexual-fantasy version? Gross, people.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-size: x-large\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #94ad79\">Four<\/span><\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inc.com\/suzanne-lucas\/performance-reviews-stink-do-this-simple-thing-instead.html\" target=\"_blank\">Suzanne Lucas (the Evil HR Lady) has a good idea here that I love more than the idea of annual performance reviews<\/a>. No one enjoys doing the annual reviews, and they aren&#8217;t helpful anyway. (Mine always felt like trying to come up with things to talk about.) If you have a good boss, you are probably already getting regular feedback of his\/her own making, so make that a form of review instead of just doing something overly formal and decidedly unhelpful.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #94ad79;font-size: x-large\">Five<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cilip.org.uk\/cilip\/blog\/rise-fall-text-web\" target=\"_blank\">This is an interesting article about the use of text vs. images on the internet and how usage has trended over the years<\/a>.
